Quran Manuscripts among Items on Display at Islamic Center in Thailand’s South  

IQNA – The Muzium Manuskrip Al-Quran Melayu Raya Narathiwat is a Quranic museum in southern Thailand.

Located in Lahan, Bang Bua Thong District, in Nonthaburi Province, it has been founded as a center for preserving and displaying Islamic works and items.

The center has been launched by the Thai culture ministry in cooperation with the organization in charge of management of the southern provinces.

Among the data-x-items on display are 70 old copies of the Quran, including manuscripts, dating back to 100 to 800 years ago.

The prime minister of Thailand, Srettha Thavisin, and his accompanying delegation toured different parts of the center during a recent visit.
